Start with your child's age. Every piece comes in age ranges, and each one shows the height it fits too. Tall for their age? Pick the next age up.

Height
Stand them against a wall without shoes, heels touching the wall. Rest a book flat on their head, mark the wall, and measure from the floor to the mark.

Or check clothes that fit
Wriggly child? Look at the age on clothes that fit them well now. Pick that age, or the next one up if they are tall for it.

All in inches. Height is your child, without shoes. The other columns are the clothes, laid flat: chest is armpit to armpit. A few baby pieces come in one size for 6–12 months (26–31½ inches tall).

Allow ½ to 1 inch. Measurements can differ by ½ to 1 inch from piece to piece.

Pick the older one. They grow faster than you think, and rolled cuffs look good.
Tall or slim for their age?
Tall for their age? Pick the next age up. Slim? Stay with their age: our elastic waists take care of the rest.
Buying a gift?
